Only slightly less obvious is 7/1/73

Judging by the rather mediocre quality of the performances fourempties has selected in his laughable "Sick Transfer of Day" recommendations, I suspect that his knowledge of 1970's Grateful Dead is rudimentary at best...

Jeez, this is Universal City we're talking about here. As in LA daze. It was psychedelic just to get to your seat. OTOH, one the best places to see a show in LA.

the one instance i prefer the matrix to the aud or sbd is

the next night's aud is part of my regular rotation and gets my vote as one of the band's greatest moments. I also have the road trips sbd treatment which sadly is not the complete show. however i've never heard the matrix since it is no longer available for streaming. since it uses the same sources as the previous night, i imagine it is incredible.
